Weighing Sensor
The material of weighting sensor is as below: strain gauge material, elastomer material, patch adhesive material, sealant, sealing material lead and lead materials.
The base material of commonly used strain gauge is polymer thin film materials, generally the strain material is high purity constantan.
The strain gauge is bonded at the elastomer material, deformation of the elastomer will be the shape change of strain gauge, they will come to restore when the external force disappear. Normally the strain gauge is kinds of metal, such as the aluminum alloy, stainless steel and alloy steel.
Patch adhesive material
Patch adhesive material bonds the strain gauge and elastomer material together very well, it could ensure their deformation to be the same always, the adhesive material should be the two component epoxy adhesive series.

The early weighting sensor is sealed by sealant, then as the developing of manufacturing technology, the stability and operating span is largely enhanced by welding technique.
In 21st century, though many adopting welding technique, these important parts need to use the sealant still. With the good stability, moisture-proof, anticorrosion and insulation performance, silicone sealant becomes the good alternative.
